EverFlor - Floor Cleaner

EverFlor Floor Cleaner is a concentrated, rinse-off cleaner and degreaser for concrete and asphalt floors. It is diluted with water and brushed in with a broom, then rinsed off. It does two jobs: it cleans the floor before EverFlor primers and coatings go down, and it cleans the same floor once the coating has cured.

Before painting, it removes general dirt, grime, light grease and surface contamination from the slab. That is the normal pre-cleaning requirement on most floors. Rinsed and dried properly, the surface is left ready for the next preparation stage or for priming. Where the concrete carries heavy oil or grease, or is badly contaminated, use EverFlor Heavy Duty Degreaser instead. Where bare concrete also needs acid etching, use EverFlor Etch & Clean.

After coating, it becomes the maintenance product. Use it on cured EverFlor epoxy, polyurethane, polyaspartic and other compatible floor finishes to remove tracked-in dirt, tyre marks, workshop grime and light oils. Dilution is adjusted to the level of soiling, so the same 5 litre container covers a weekly wash and a heavier clean. One product prepares the floor at installation and keeps it clean for the rest of its life.

Good to know

This is the everyday cleaner in the range, not the heavy-duty option. Severe oil and grease contamination, and intensive preparation of neglected concrete, call for EverFlor Heavy Duty Degreaser. Always rinse the treated area thoroughly — cleaner residue left on the slab will interfere with adhesion. Allow the floor to dry fully before priming or coating. On bare concrete, cleaning is a preparation stage, not a substitute for mechanical preparation or etching where the coating specification calls for it.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Sweep or vacuum the floor before you start. Take up loose debris, grit and any pooled oil or spillage by hand. Isolate drains and gullies where dirty rinse water must not go.

DILUTION AND APPLICATION

Dilute the concentrate with water to suit the level of cleaning required — stronger for ingrained workshop grime, weaker for routine washes. Spread the diluted cleaner over the floor and brush it in with a stiff broom. Work section by section rather than flooding the whole floor at once. Give tyre marks and grease patches additional agitation with the broom.

RINSING

Rinse each treated section thoroughly with clean water and remove the dirty water. Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface. On bare concrete being prepared for coating, keep rinsing until the run-off is clear, then let the slab dry completely before priming.

USE ON COATED FLOORS

On cured EverFlor epoxy, polyurethane, polyaspartic and other compatible finishes, dilute more weakly for routine cleaning and increase the strength for heavier soiling. Brush in, rinse off and remove the water as before. For severe oil or grease contamination, or for intensive preparation of neglected concrete, use EverFlor Heavy Duty Degreaser instead.
