Abrasion Resistant Finish

A tough, semi-gloss satin finish engineered to withstand heavy foot traffic and abrasion. Enriched with UV-stable pigments, it maintains rich color depth and resists fading, making it equally effective for internal floors and external patios.

Hydrophobic Vapor Valve

The advanced acrylic lattice acts as a "one-way valve." It blocks rain and surface oils from penetrating downwards but allows trapped ground moisture to escape as vapor—preventing the bubbling and blistering common with standard floor paints.

Active Silane Adhesion

Unlike standard paints that sit on the surface, this formula uses silane promoters to chemically cross-link with the mineral substrate. This creates a permanent, rooted bond that resists flaking and peeling, even under duress.

Optimized Curing Profile

Engineered for efficient application cycles. The coating becomes touch-dry in just 2–4 hours (temperature dependent), preventing debris pickup and allowing for a reliable, streamlined application process on large surface areas.

Profil de performance

Professional grade single-pack water-based acrylic. Matt, smooth finish supplied ready to use, applied by brush, roller or spray at 4-6m² per litre over two coats, with full cure reached in one day.

Informations essentielles

Détails du produit

Description

EverFlor AsphaltCoat is a single-pack (1K) water-based acrylic coating formulated for external tarmac and asphalt surfaces. It lays down a matt to low sheen, smooth film that colours and defines large areas of hard standing without the mixing, pot life and solvent handling that come with two-pack systems.

The primary application is tarmac and tennis court surfaces, along with marking out parking bays, pedestrian walkways and hazardous areas. It is also suitable for old asphalt and tarmac, concrete, brick and masonry, so a single product can carry a colour scheme across mixed external substrates.

Seven colours are available: Red Tarmac (RAL 3009), White (RAL 9003), Safety Blue (RAL 5015), Mid Blue (RAL 5010), Black (RAL 9005), Mid Green (RAL 6002) and Safety Yellow (RAL 1023). The safety shades and white are intended for delineation and hazard identification, while Red Tarmac, Mid Green, Mid Blue and Black work as broad court and bay colours.

The product is supplied ready to use, with no thinning required, and can be applied by brush, roller or spray. Coverage is 4-6m² per litre and two coats are recommended. Overcoating is possible after 2-4 hours at 20°C, so a two-coat job can be completed within a single working day, reaching full cure after one day.

Low odour and a VOC content below 30 g/l make it a straightforward choice for sites where solvent emissions and smell are a concern. Available in 5 litre and 20 litre packs with a 12 month shelf life.

Application

SURFACE PREPARATION

AsphaltCoat is intended for old asphalt and tarmac, concrete, brick and masonry. Surfaces must be sound, clean and free of loose material and contamination so the acrylic film can key properly. Set out parking bays, pedestrian walkways and hazardous area markings before you start coating. a primer isn't required on sound substrates, if the surface is dusty, use Prime AQ.

MIXING AND APPLICATION

The product is supplied ready to use and needs no thinning. Stir thoroughly to an even colour, then apply by brush, roller or spray. Coverage is 4-6m² per litre and two coats are recommended for a uniform matt to low sheen finish.

DRYING AND RECOATING

At 20°C the coating is touch dry in 2 hours and can be overcoated after 2-4 hours, allowing a two-coat application to be completed within a single working day. Full cure is reached after one day. Lower temperatures will extend these times.

STORAGE

Shelf life is 12 months. Keep containers closed and protected from frost when not in use.

FAQ

Veuillez consulter notre page FAQ pour en savoir plus.

What surfaces can AsphaltCoat be applied to?
It is suitable for old asphalt and tarmac, concrete, brick and masonry. Its primary use is on tarmac and tennis court surfaces, and for marking out parking bays, pedestrian walkways and hazardous areas.
Do I need to thin it or add a hardener?
No. AsphaltCoat is a single-pack (1K) water-based acrylic supplied ready to use, so there is no mixing ratio, no hardener and no thinning required. Stir thoroughly before application.
How many coats are needed and how much will I need?
Two coats are recommended. Coverage is 4-6m² per litre, so a 5 litre pack covers approximately 20-30m² per coat and a 20 litre pack approximately 80-120m² per coat, depending on the porosity and texture of the substrate.
How long before the surface can be used?
The coating is touch dry in 2 hours at 20°C and can be recoated after 2-4 hours at 20°C. Full cure is reached after 1 day, and the surface should be left until then before normal use. Cooler conditions will lengthen these times.
How is it applied, and how do I clean up?
It can be applied by brush, roller or spray. As a water-based product, tools and equipment are cleaned with water immediately after use. It is low odour with a VOC content below 30 g/l.
